By using Clara, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Service Description
Clara is an AI-powered personal life concierge that provides personalized local recommendations, manages tasks, and helps organize your family life. Clara is currently in early access (beta) and available to Bay Area residents.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Clara. During early access, the service is available to residents of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to keep your profile information current.
AI Disclaimer
Clara uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations and complete tasks. While we strive for accuracy, Clara’s output should not be relied upon as professional advice. Specifically:
- Clara does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice
- Recommendations are based on publicly available information and may not always be accurate or current
- You should independently verify important information before acting on it
- Clara may occasionally make mistakes or provide outdated information
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Clara for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to abuse, manipulate, or reverse-engineer the service
- Use Clara to harass, harm, or impersonate others
- Interfere with or disrupt the service’s operation
Intellectual Property
The Clara name, brand, and service are owned by us. Your personal data remains yours. We claim no ownership over information you provide to Clara.
Service Availability
Clara is provided on a best-effort basis. During early access, we do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clara and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can stop using Clara and request deletion of your data by emailing hello@yourclara.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of Clara after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
